Who we are

Cadarn IT is a trading venture of Birchall Reality Ltd, based in Ruthin, Denbighshire. We provide IT support to accountancy practices. For the purposes of UK data protection law, Birchall Reality Ltd is the data controller. You can contact us at hello@cadarn-it.com or 01824 538583.

What information we collect

  • Enquiry details you give us through our forms, your name, practice name, email, phone number, practice size and any message.
  • Lead source information such as the page you arrived on and campaign tags (UTM parameters), so we can understand which of our efforts are helpful.
  • Technical data from privacy-friendly, cookieless website analytics (aggregate page views and referrers), this does not identify you.

How and why we use it

We use your information to:

  • respond to your enquiry and arrange your Practice IT Health Check or other request;
  • provide and administer our services if you become a client;
  • understand which marketing channels are working, in aggregate.

Our lawful bases are your consent (when you contact us) and our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and running our business, and where you are a client, performance of a contract.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us operate, for example our website host and email provider, and only as needed. We may disclose information where required by law.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry data only as long as necessary to deal with your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards, then delete it. Client records are kept for as long as we provide services and as required by law.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email us at hello@cadarn-it.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
